Pesto Turkey Breakfast Pizza Recipe


Here's another easy to make Breakfast or afternoon snack to treat the kids or for yourself.  This recipe if Pesto is already pre-made shouldn't take you very long to make. Perfect for the Mom on the run or busy lady that still wants to cook something healthy.

This recipe is using my Pesto Sauce Recipe (another good reason to make a big batch of Pesto) so it allows you to make so many other more dishes at short time. If you don't have Pesto substitute the Pesto with Tomato Pizza Sauce. 



Pesto Turkey Breakfast Pizza
Makes 2 Servings (adjust as needed for more)

2-3 Slices of Turkey 
2 Whole Wheat English Muffins
3 Tblsp Pesto Sauce or Tomato Pizza Sauce
1/4 c. Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese
Red Grape Tomatoes (as desired)

1. Spread Pesto sauce on bread
2. Add cheese, Turkey slices and Tomatoes 
3. Spray non-sticking spray to a pan 
4. Bake until cheese is melted in Oven or Toaster Oven. (10mins)
